Looking for burial place and obits- Grandison Moses Wall,
and wife Mary Adelaide Simpson-Wall- Grandison died before
August 30, 1901 and Mary died 1906. Grandison was the founder and operator of Walls Ferry ( abt. where lock # 3. is today) from 1851-1908. Grandison & Mary also had a son who was accidently killed by gunshot wound in 1900, named Major Townsend Wall he was 39 yrs of age & unmarried. They also had a young daughter about 2-3- yrs die named Mary Caroline- I would think maybe all 4 would be buried in the same area ?? We have always been told behind a chruch, in St. James... Maybe Methodist Church ???
Was there a newspaper in area at that time that would have had obit notices ? I cannot find these graves on the Ark. cemeteries on the web.. Any help will be appreciated..
