Looking for Graves of Wall Family... Known family members who are buried in Stone County.. Grandison M. Wall-- owner & operator of Walls Ferry on White River, a commissary and warehouse where he stored and sold farm equip. & farm items, he also owned a large amount of acreage that was farmed from 1851-1901. (Place was purchased after death of Grandison & Mary by the HESS FAMILY.) Grandison Died in 1901-- His wife Mary died in 1906. They had a daughter die as a child -( 1850-60 time frame)Mary Caroline Wall, also had a grown son (age 39) Major Townsend Wall accidently shot in 1900. I am guessing they may all be buried in the same place.. Our family believed ( word of mouth) burial was in St. James, Ar. ( behind a chruch ???) A relative recently made a trip to Ar. to find graves and was unable to find them.. Can anyone out there help me ????? If a newpaper in area printed OBITS.. Maybe it would list where they would be buried.. Was there such a newspaper in 1900 ?? Any help would be appreciated..
