My Great Grandfather was Grandison Moses Wall who founded Walls Ferry and operated it for over 50 Years with the exception of the Civil War years when he rode with General Sterling Price in the Camden Campaign and the Missouri Raids.
The ferry operated ...1851-1908.
Grandison moved to Batesville then to Stone County from Maury Co.Tn.after the death of his father Major Wall.
His mother was Mary Elizabeth James and married Major in Mecklenburg, Va.in 1803. They moved to Lincoln Co.TN,abt. 1814.
Major, Mary and family moved to Maury Co., after 1821.
Grandison married Mary Adelaide Simpson in 1858 in Independence Co.,AR.
Mary was the daughter of Henson Simpson B: Mo. & Caroline Bladen, B: Virginia. They had 8 children...#1.Grandison Thadeous, #2.Major Townsend (died as a result of accidental gunshot wound in 1900 age 31 unmarried). #3. Henson James,

# 5.Elizabeth Eveline "HELEN" Wall, #6.Simon Adler, #7.Edward Bladen & #8. William B.
E.E. "Helen Wall" married William Tandy Hatfield.
Helen & Wm. Tandy is listed in Grandison's will.
After the death of Grandison & Mary in 1906 all the children with the exception of William aka/ WiLLie left Arkansas.
Grandison, Mary, Caroline and Major Townsend are all buried in the St. James Cemetery behind the Methodist Church.
I understand the grave of Mary Caroline is the only one they can identify. Which is a shame since Grandison was a CSA soldier and also appointed a member of the Arkansas Homeland Guard before he enlisted in the CSA.
Thadeous and his wife Maude Carnes-Wall with children went to Washington State and then to Montana.
Simon, Henson, Helen & Bladen went to Hunt County, Texas.
Where Simon & Bladen opened a Livery Stable.
In 1923 Simon, Bladen,Helen & Wm. Tandy moved to Jefferson Co.,"Waurika", Ok. and later to Stephens Co., "COMANCHE", OK. (Bladen never married and lived with Simon & his family, Bladen died 1933 of pneumonia).
Elizabeth Eveline "Helen" Wall-Hatfield and William Tandy Hatfield both died in Comanche, Oklahoma. They are buried

They had two daughters... Sorry I don't remember their correct names just the nicknames "Toot" and "Sug".
They married brothers. I also think they had a son who lives in Oklahoma City. I think he was called Bobby Hatfield. I can go to my Wall records and look this all up for you if you want their names.
