Major Wall married Mary Elizabeth James 1/1803 in Mecklenburg, Va. The Chitwoods also lived in Va. and also moved to Tennessee as the Wall family did... I know there is probably some connection. As you said after the Wall family went to Arkansas so did the Chitwoods... Was there a family connection or just friends? I have never found who Major's mother was. His father was Joshua Wall 11, It could be possible that Major's mother was a Chitwood. Joshua Wall 11, remarried in 5/1817 to Permelia Richardson and goes to Lincoln Co., Tn.
