Am trying this once again. Does anyone know where Peter Martin is buried? Family lore has it that he died in Timbo, Stone County, Arkansas on 5 April 1910. (He was born 8 Jan 1824, in Wayne County, TN and lived in Searcy County, Arkansas for many years before moving to Stone County.) Would really like to know where he's buried so we can make a trip to the cemetery and pay our respects. Also, does anyone know what newspaper in the area would possibly have the obit for Peter? (Just received his pension file from the National Archives and would really like to be able to "visit" the old gent...truly a remarkable man!) Thanks in advance for any help or hints!
