Wanda, James Robert Shannon was born 16 Feb 1852 and died 04 Mar 1929. He is buried in an unmarked grave at Blue Mt. Cemetery. According to Stone Co., Arkansas Marriage Book A for 1873-1890, he married Mary Jane Burgess, age 22, on 03 Feb 1876, in Stone Co., Arkansas. He and Mary Jane had three children. Mine Shannon died prior to 1900 at approximately 17 yrs. She is burried in Gray's Cemetery at the SW corner of the cemetery. There is a sandstone marker with her name that is barely lefible. William Finis Shannon was born 04 Sep 1876 in Stone Co. He died 06 Oct 1968 and is buried at Blue Mt. Cemetery. His grave marker has name listed as Finis W. He was married to Cornelious Martin. They had five children.
Peggy Ann Shannon married "Press" (Preston/Presley??) Green and moved to the Okemah, Oklahoma region and is presumed to have died there.
At this time I do not know anymore about Mary Jane Burgess. I will be on the lookout for more info about her.
