Hello. I would like to suggest that you contact the Lonoke County Museum at PO box 873, Lonoke, Arkansas 72086
To be honest, I am a member of the Lonoke Baptist Church and I have not heard the story of who was the founder.
The records from long ago were burned in a fire, if I remember correctly.
I was interested because my gg grandfather who moved to town in 1880, according to oral history, was a deacon in the church so I have asked questions in the past.
Sherryl Miller, the director is the one who does research and one of the ladies from the church is her assistant so I bet there would be interest. I am thinking she has worked on the Green family in the past.
To be honest, if it turns into a real genealogy search, she usually gets a donation to the museum building fund which has been going to pay off the new roof.
Good luck.
Linda
