I am the great great granddaughter of Ellen Minerva(Sanders) Kniffin. She was born in Searcy, Arkansas on 11-28-1850 and died 1-17-1928. She married a Carroll Humphries Kniffin in 1867 in Searcy, Arkansas and had 6 children. She lost my great great grandfather after he was shot in head and put in Little Rock mental institution. They had 5 or 6 kids, and in 1900 she moved to Rosedale, Oklahoma.
I am looking for her father and mother's names. The census says that her parents were born in Virgina around 1820 to 1824. I believe her brother was A W Sanders of Arkansas.
I hope someone can help me.
