To answer your second question first, go to, click onto their great New Mexico Database and look up any name, such as Joseph de Aragon.
José Miguel was the son of José de Quintana ( born 1645 in Ciudad Mexico, Nueva España)who married Nicolasa de Valdes Altamirano Cervantes (born abt 1650 in Toluca, NE and died June 16, 1681 in Ciudad Mexico, NE) January 2, 1666/67 in Ciudad Mexico, NE. José de Q was son of Juan de Quintana (Born abt 1620 in Ciudad Mexico, NE) married Ana María de Peralta (born abt 1624 in Ciudad Mexico, NE)abt 1645 in Ciudad Mexico, NE. Nicolasa de VAC was daughter of Francisco de Valdes Altamirano and Juana de Fuentes. That is as far as I go with this line. Antonia Lujan Dominguez (born 1677 in Rio Abajo, NM)was daughter of Juan Domingo Lujan (born 1655 and died 1693)married to Juana Dominguez (born 1656 and died 1717). Juana D was daughter to Tomé Dominguez de Mendoza (born 1626 in Ciudad Mexico, NE) and Ana Velasquez (born 1640). Tomé D was son of Juan Bartolomé (Tomé)Dominguez II (born 1596 in Cartajena de Levante, España and died 1656)married August 29, 1616 in Puebla, NE to Elena Ramirez de Mendoza (born 1596 in La Antigua Veracruz, NE and died bef 1661 in Rio Abajo, NM). The rest of the Dominguez are available in "Origins..." by Fray Angelico Chávez.
