Tried to post once, I think I failed. My grandpa Damacio Foulenfont Aragon (from Aragon, NM) remembers a 'Tio Melguides'. I don't know if it was a term of endearment, or if it was truly his uncle, but that could be your great-grandpa Melquiades.

Maybe we should put our pieces of the puzzle together to see what we come up with.
