I have a possible ancestor who was a Scots prisoner and was shipped to "a New England plantation" by William Arbuckle, a merchant in Glasgow in 1685. I'm wondering if the William you refer to might be the same one. I'm trying to figure out where "New England" might refer to. Thanks for any help!
