I am not sure and do not have any proof that the Ardiel name is connected to the Huguenots except perhaps through my gr,gr,gr,grandfather, Leonard Ardiel's wife, Rebecca Carry. Apparently, she is the one with the French background.
However, the name Ardiel is my main brick wall, especially when it comes to researching the name in Tipperary/Londontown, Ireland.
