Just a correction and addition to the record, Alexander Ardery/Ardrey's wife was Sussana Gaddis...not Eaddis. She was the daughter of Rev. John Gaddis, the granddauther of Robert Gaddis and Mary Ann Frazier who lived in Ripley, Brown Co., OH after coming from "near " Lancaster, PA in 1817. Prior to that they lived in Delaware where they landed in 1801 about mid-August. The Gaddis family originated from Co. Down in Northern Ireland and sailed from Warrenpoint on the ship Stafford in May of 1801. Susanna's father, John, was born in Co. Down between 1794-1788. Susanna and Alexander were married in PA.
