Does anyone know who is the father of George Argenbright that moved to Texas about 1850 from Tennessee. He was born about 1778 in Virginia. His children were born in Tennessee-Arthur A.(born about 1812), Adaline, Eldridge, & Sarah. I believe he is the Captain George Argenbright of the War of 1812 Volunteer Riflemen in the East Tennessee Militia. There is a George Argenbright in 1830 and 1840 Census for Hawkins County Tennessee, but not in 1850 which is when he apparently moved to Texas (appears on 1850 Census Smith County, Texas). He is my grgrgr-grandfather.
