Hi Brad! I have some connection to you through the Argenbrights. Meredith William David Argenbright was my gg grandfather. I think I may have some confusion in my records between Meredith and Mason. I think they are related because the family used three given names which I had never found in any other family research. I may have confused these two men because their initials are similar, MWD or WMD. For a long time I couldn't figure out how my Meredith could have had so many wives and children but now am thinking there are two separate men. Have you heard of Meredith? Maybe between us, we can sort out this info. From the 1900 census of Rockbridge County, Smith River, I have Mason Argenbright born April 1830 married 23 years (that would put his wedding date around 1877) His wife was Sarah born April 1852, she had 6 children. Child born May 1879, Isabel born Nov. 1885; Emily born Feb. 1886; Daisy M. born May 1888; Walter born Aug. 1891 and Cornelia born Feb 1893. But then and this is where the confusion comes in, I have for Meredith some records showing his wife is Sarah Elizabeth and the children are Maria born Nov. 1879; Emily born 1882; Walter Franklin born 27 August 1890 in Bells Valley, Rockbridge, Va.; Cordelia Maud born 25 Feb. 1893 in Goshen, Rockbridge, Va. and Grover C. born 1900. Let me know what you have and hopefully this confusion can be solved.
Terry
