My gr-grand mother was Amanda Pearl Dodson Rich, sister to Naricssa Jane Dodson Thompson...girls were daughters of William Farmer Dodson and Falby Julia (Williams?) Dodson.
We have always heard there was a Cherokee Indian connection to these girls. References are made on other sites to Melinda Ellen Thompson Trice and Missouri Ann Thompson Arner, daughter of Narcissa and John Ross Thompson, as having American Indian heritage. If the 2 girls had Am. Indian heritage, so did have the parents also. Have you found anything about this? Thanks.....Lydia
