I also descend from Johann Ulrich Aner who was BAPTIZED IN 1699, not necessarily BORN then. The only records I have seen on this family are church baptism records that give dates. I did find Johann's ship's records when he came to Pa. and it lists him as being 42 years old in 1735 which seems to indicate he was born in 1693. I saw one researcher's data that said he was born in 1693 in the Palatinate. I have no idea where this info comes from but I would like to authenicate his birth year. If any one can prove one way or another when he was born, let the list know. I was in Windlach last year and it is a picturesque village with only about 40 or so houses, many of which date back to the 1700's. Stadel is about a mile away and is much bigger. A historty of these 2 towns was written by a teacher from Stadel. The book is in the Zurich library and has many pictures in it. It mentions the Goetschy party leaving Switzerland in 1734. This is the group Johann left with.

I descend from the Adams County ,Pa branch.I would like to exchange info on this family.
