This might help someone--not related. Carroll County Democrat Huntingdon, Tennessee February 27, 1891 A Henry County Killing There was a serious killing in Henry County Wednesday of last week. THOMAS MCGEHEE and his brother-in-law JACK ALEXANDER became enemies over the condition of a horse which the former brought back to the latter and went to JOHN ARRON, who is the father-in-law of both parties, to settle the matter. MCGEHEE claimed the horse was unsound, and Mr. ARRON, not agreeing with him, became riled, went home and began to abuse his wife because Mr. Arron, her father, would not agree with him in the matter of the horse. She sent to her father for protection, and when Mr. Arron started to enter McGehee’s house, they got into a personal combat, which resulted in MCGEHEE shooting ARRON through the right shoulder causing instant death. MCGEHEE made his escape. Notify Administrator about this message?
