Thank you for your reply - I'm sorry and hope things get better for you. If you are interested I have my gr.gr. grandfathers civil war papers as well as his brother Jasper that I would be willing to share with you - to include in your book. Also, I was wondering how you may be related to the Messer Girls that married to the Gibson boys
John Gibson was married to Elmina Messer and his brother Samuel was married to Rachel Messer. These Gibsons are my line and also I beleive that my Gunter line was married into the Messer Family somewhere (smile)I can't remember just who off the top of my head. Anyway, I was just curious.
