Levi is My GGGrandfather he was born abt 1826 in Burke County, NC. He Married Martha J ? Dec.24, 1846 in Rutherford Co. NC. In Oct 1863 he enlisted in the Confederate Army. In Company F of the 58th NC Infantry. Company rosters showed him awol from 21 Oct.-22 Dec. He was court martialed and sentenced to forfeit one months pay.Thereafter, rosters showed him present through 31 Aug 1864.
He is burried at the Arrowood Family Graveyard in Glenwood, McDowell Co. NC. The Sons of Confederate Veterans put up a new tombstone and had a ceramony at his grave site about a year ago.
I will try to get you some more information when I can My computer crashed awhile back and I lost most of my research. I am just now trying to gather the stuff back together.
