"SERVICES TODAY FOR ARTERBERRY

Funeral services for Howard Bennett "Dad" Arterberry, 104, 512 Illinois, will be at 3 pm Sunday in Snyder.

A long time resident of Chickasha, Mr. Arterberry died at 11:30 pm Friday in his home following three weeks of serious illness. He was born in
1849 in Quincy, Ill.

Mr. Arterberry served as minister in the Church of Christ for 19 years.
He was employed for a number of years on the Rock Island railroad as an engineer and blacksmith.

He is survived by 12 children, five daughters and seven sons. They
include: Mrs. Lara Bell Gunter of Finksburg, Md, Mrs. Mary Frishour of Yreka, Calif., Mrs. Myrtle Powell of Chickasha, Mrs. Carol Lay of Verden and Mrs. Viola Mills of Chickasha,

George W. Arterberry of Snyder, W. T. of Pauls Valley, Ted and J. D. of Chickasha, Bennie of Cache, Paul and Howard B. of Tuttle.

Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery at Snyder under direction of Chickasha Funeral Home."
