Recently started checking into our family tree for my brother and sister. Naturally, we are "Arterberrys". I've not seen much from Indiana and Arkansas, so I must believe we're from the "missing" link branch. We actually have very little information since dad died when we were not quite adults and we were kids from a second marriage. Basically, there are no known relatives left we can ask.
Here goes what we know. Our father, Orville Ebb Arterberry was born on April 13, 1907 in MacRae, Arkansas. (We are Orville, Irene and Norene.) Orville Ebb Arterberry married first (I believe) Cora Green. They had one son-William Arterberry. Don't know when they were divorced and don't know what happened to Cora. Dad's second marriage was to Borghild Vand and they were probably married August 10, 1946. This is where we come in. Norene, b 1947, Irene, b 1948, Orville, b 1949. They were married in IN, so he got from Arkansas to Indiana sometime.
Dad had a brother named William Arterberry, a sister named Viola (Rees) and a sister named Birdie (Miller).
Believe his father's name was James Arterberry born 1880 who married Anna Mayham. Believe James' father's name was William, but that's all I have.
Any help for me in identifying our missing link?
