Here is the entry for William Bonner:
Bonner, William | 3 men 16+; 3 boys 0-16; 4 females; 13 slaves | 1790 census
I see also many deeds in Pitt county involving the Bonner family.

I was interested in Joseph Asbel because my Hodges ancestors moved from Pitt County NC to Twiggs County, GA, about 1797, and there are numerous Asbells in Twiggs County from 1818 on, and also Joseph Asbel in Pitt in 1790. In Twiggs, the Asbell and Hodges families were neighbors.
