Found these books/manuscripts listed in the South Carolinian Library on the USC campus in Columbia, SC. Hours are: M-F 8:30AM - 5PM; Saturday 9:AM - 1PM. Hours follow USC schedule, ie, not open on Monday, Labor Day; Ph: 803-777-5183; web address: www.sc.edu/library/socar/;

As I found this yesterday, I have not reviewed the collection, but thought for anyone that was going to be in and around the area, this was worth sharing. I used the keyword "Asbill" in their search engine.

Grimwood, James M. "Asbell Connections, The Antecedants and Descendants of Aaron Asbill, 1641-1988; 929.2; AS1G (ASIG)

Hennig, Helen Kohn, Copy of Manuscript Copy 1937; History of Blount, Miller....Asbill, Ridge Spring, SC (Possibly a WPA project)

Bennett, George T; Asbill Family History; 929.2 AS1B

Garvin, Bessie Lee; 1893-1982; Manuscripts 5-J-2-6
