No luck finding any more records of John and Isaac Asbell in the Charleston County library... They did have the microfiche of one of his Royal land grants of 250 acres situated in Amelia Township, Berkeley county the south side of the Santee on a small Branch of Edisto (river) called Waboo. He and his heirs had to clear and cultivate 3 acres for every hundred acres.
