George Bennett Books

I have two copies of the Geo. Bennett book, one written around l956 and another around l960. I believe there was at least another because someone gave me a page gleaned from a Bennett Book and that informtion is not on that page of the 1961 Bennett Book.

I have found a few mistakes, but also found some things I did not know. His book looks to be hand colored, typed on a typewriter and home published - actually this took lots of effort and time. Quite interesting to look at the hand colored charts and read the narrative.

The 1961 books is about two inches thick. I also have letters written to the book's owner asking for information on his family. There were letters and postcards inviting them to a National Asbill Reunion in the late fifties. Geo. Bennett sites one family from Ridge Spring, SC who went to the reunion.
