Well, my Asbells even went by Asbel when they felt like it! And all my Cloyes spelled it Cloyse and still do.

You surely may participate if you have any direct male line Asbell/Asbill relatives you feel are "of your line" - if you can twist their arm to swab the inside of their cheek a couple of times and can cover the test cost.

I have 3 ladies (genealogists all!) on the Harvey Y-DNA study who are participating by using their "proxies". They are entitled to view the results and communicate with the other guys when there are matching results.

From what I have seen of your prior Asbell postings you would be most welcome! in any surname study group.
