Shirlene, I have very little on John Lewis Asbell, born May 1857, marr Mary, b abt 1858. In 1880 census they were in Brownville, Lee Co., AL with two sons, Fletcher b abt 1876 AL; and Julius b Mar 1878 in AL. I later found a Fletcher married to an Elizabeth in the 1920 census in Langley Township, Aiken, SC. Fletcher & Elizabet had 2 sons, Fletcher, Jr b abt 1903, Ga and Julius, b abt 1904. Would love to share any info you have.
