There was a Soloman Asbill in Ms 1837 per MS census 1805-1890. I believe he is from the Solomon Asbill line that died 1824 Lawrenceburg, TN. I believe the James Asbill you find in the 1850 Tishomingo MS Census and 1860 McNairy Co TN census to be his brother. This James is my ancestoral line. The Thomas J. could be Thomas Jefferson Asbill also part of the same family. Hope this helps.
