Charlotte, Yes I am working on the James Family and am lucky enough tolive near the cemeteries where most of them are buried. I did not know what had happened to Margaret Ellen nor do I know what happened to Laura. Do you? I know she married twice, once to a Griffin and the last time to a Kerby. I found a George Kerby in Floyd County, Ga in 1900 Census but he didn't have a wife living, so I don't know if he is the right one or not. I will gladly share what information I have with you.
