Hi Ken,

I am researching lancashire-Ashcrofts in the Much Hoole area.

I am only back to a certain William Ashcroft Born about 1827 in Much Hoole, Married Margaret ? and had Children William/Richard/John/Jane/Ellen/Anne etc. I believe he was a land onwer and therefore the family may have been in the area for a couple of Generations. I two am having difficulty tracking them back, but because there are not many ashcrofts in that area, wondered if we had any links, William also possibly had brothers/sisters but again not sure.
