Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

My GGrandfather, James Ashcroft (b. 1858) had a brother called Samuel (b. 1853) and five other siblings. James had 8 children, one of whom was Anne and another Samuel (b. 1890). This tree goes back to UpHolland, near Wigan, Lancashire in the 18th C, then Liverpool in the 19th C. If you would like to know more or see my tree, just e-mail me. Coincidently, my wife is also called Helena Ashcroft!
