Ashcroft in Maryland

In looking through some of my father's papers, I ran across a quitclaim deed dated 15 Nov 1894. It was for a conveyance of land from Henry C Ashcroft IV and Constance W Ashcroft to their son Cyrus J Ashcroft. It was located in Rappanoc, Montgomery County, Maryland. I have not been able to find anything on the above names on ancestry.com, and Rappanoc does not exist except in a video game. I have no idea why my father would have this, as there are no Ashcrofts that I am aware of in our family tree. Does anyone have information about this family? Would really appreciate the help, thanks.
