I'm seeking records or family information for Edith Ashcroft, who was my paternal grandmother, born in Longsight (now part of Manchester), Lancashire, England. She was married to my grandfather, William Emmanuel Green in the same town (date unknown), and my father William Douglas Green was born on Jan. 2, 1907 in Belfast, North ireland. The family subsequently moved to Ferryside, Wales, from which my grandfather originated, and my father grew up there until moving to Ecuador in the 1930's.
I hope to be able to use the newly posted 1901 census from www.census.pro.gov.uk, however it's only been up one week and crashed for six days of that.
