I have a THOMAS ASH b. abt 1740-1745 who is listed in the Frederick Co., VA census: "9 white people", which I think would be the father, mother and (7) children. I believe he may be the father of: AMOS, JAMES, THOMAS JOHN & NANCY (ANN) ASH (ASHE). Some of them were married in Frederick Co., VA and Logan Co., KY and moved on to Muhlenberg Co. KY. NANCY (ANN)(1772-1822) ASHE married JESSE MCPHERSON in Frederick Co., on Sept. 4, 1788. Later some descendants moved on to Scott Co., Illinois around 1820-30. I would like to find out what information you have on your Thomas Ashe and will share what other information I have. Barbara Krol
