I don't know if this will be of any interest, but my Father was James Edward Ashe of Doncaster, Yorks U.K. All I know is that his g.g. grandfather went to England from France and the name then was Le Fevre. When it changed to Ashe I don't know, but perhaps there could be some connection somewhere? If you find out anything, please let me know. I have only had my computer for a short while and I'm not very good at finding things on it! I can't, off hand, remeber my Fathers birthday, but he died about 40 years ago. Age 63 I think.
