Your name Sarah McCulloch Ashe, has all names that I research, only in the 1700s. My Ashes are from North Carolina in the Wilmington area. They were closely tied to the Moores. Mary Ashe married my George Moore on May 19, 1739. Mary Ashe was the daughter of John Baptista Ashe and Elizabeth Lillington Swann. My Sarah Moore was the grand daughter of George Moore and her first husband was Samuel McCulloch of Halifax County, NC. Samuel drowned in the Duck river on the way to TN in about 1809. He was traveling there with relatives. So you see Sarah Ashe McCulloch all have the names of my relatives back in NC.
