I am Patricia Caldwell from Macon County, N.C. I have questions I would like to have answered. I have a Jesse Ash born Virginia Revolutionary War soldier, came to Lincoln County, N.C. in the 1800. Then on through Haywood and Jackson County later. I have connected with free-colored in Virginia and find a Sarah Ash with children, one being named Jesse and a mention of she being possibly from Novia Scotia. Can I find info on this line. help!!! Pat
