Hello there Edel,
I think we might have a connection.I have a Margaret Casey who was born around 1876 and she died in August 1952. She was married to Dan Kennedy my great grandfather and he was called Dan Mor Kennedy of Annagap Annascaul. I only know of one sister of Margaret's and that was Maria who married a Mannix and he was supposedly a blacksmith and they had 4 children - 2boys and two girls who went to America. Margaret and Maria's father, I'm almost certain was Michael Casey but I am unsure as to who their mother was. I was told it might have been an Annie Ashe but this may be wrong. The Ashe connection may have come from somewhere else in the family. My Dan Mor Kennedy was a brother of John, Paddy, Bridget, Nell. He may have had more siblings and his father was Tadgh Kennnedy. If any of this fits with your information, could you can let me know?
thanking you in advance!
