Matt Ashe lived from approximately 1850 something to about 1942. His parents were Jim Ashe and Biddie Healy. Biddie Healy was from Goat St, Dingle.
Matt's siblings were Mary, who married a Keane from Acres; Joan, who married a Meaney from the U.S.; Jimmy "the sailor", who married an O'Donnell; and John, who married Mary Crean.
Matt was married to Margaret "Mag" Devane from Glen Minard, and they had 10 children, 7 of which moved to the Springfield, Mass. area.
Any more information anyone could provide about Matt Ashe and his parents would be greatly appreciated.
