Hi Kate,

Thank you for your interest in my post.

You are correct - I have two John's and tow Elizabeth Maria's listed for Gen. John Ashe and Rebecca Moore. I don't know how that came about, but yes, I'm sure I have duplicates. I depend upon the kindness of people like you to offer corrections. Please send or post more details about these children. I do not have the sources that you quote.

As for the Waddell line, I'm sure I have some wires crossed here and there also. I'm curious about your Susan Henrietta Moore. I have this entry:
Susan H. Moore b.Abt 1805 in NC d.4 Aug 1879 in Wilmington, NC. Susan married Hugh D. Waddell b.21 Mar 1799 d.1 Nov 1878, son of John Burgwin Waddell and Sarah Moore Nash. Susan was the daughter of Alfred Moore, Jr. and Rebecca Christina Williams.

Would you consider sending me a report of your Waddell line? I would love to get my Alfred's and Hugh's straightened out.

Steve
