Hi James,

Do the names Mark ASHE and Essie Muriel STONE mean anything to you?

Essie was my grand-aunt. She was born 12 April 1898 in (Lower) Sackville NS - died 16 June 1973 Halifax NS.

Mark ASHE was born 15 Feb 1889 - died 12 April 1963 Halifax NS.

Children born to them, d/m/y of birth after name and spouse's name in ( ), plus last known whereabouts:

Jean Evelyn 5/9/1920 (Joseph SAUNDERS)- Oakville Ont; Phyllis Bernadette 2/10/1921 (Aubrey MACMILLAN) - Elmsdale NS; Marshall Douglas Alan abt 1926 - died 2/6/1977 Halifax; Barbara Patricia b? - (#1 Howard MUNRO #2 Archibald HAYE[S]) - Toronto Ont; Joyce [aka Joy] b? (William NASH) - Halifax NS; Roland b? - a Halifaz NS police detective; Robert b?.

I believe one of the sons had the nickname *Buster*, but don't know which one. Other names connected to the maternal side of this family are: STONE, WYATT, GRANDY, MURRAY, HOLLAND, WEST

Any connections?

Warmest regards,
Toni (nee WYATT), Ontario.
