I am looking for more information on my gggrandfather James ASHMAN who was born about 1926 in England. He immigrated to NY, where he married his first wife and their first six children were born. The family then moved to MI, where the next four children were born and the wife died. James remarried my gggrandmother (Sarah Jane ?__?) in MI and moved to LaPorte, IN, where my ggrandfather and his full sister were born. The family moved to KS when my ggrandfather was 8 years old. After this, we lose track of James and Sarah Jane. Some sources say James died in Brookeville, KS, while others say he remarried after Sarah Jane and moved to WA or OR. If anyone can help me out with James and Sarah Jane, I'd be most grateful.
