Justus Ashman, Albany Co. Committee of Correspondence & 1779 Taxpayer (NY)

I am seeking genealogical information on the Justus Ashman, whose name appears on the October 23rd, 1779 Saratoga District, Albany County Tax List and he served a member of the Albany County Committee of Correspondence. However, Justus Ashman did not serve in the 13th Regiment of the Albany County Militia.

Samuel Ashman served in the 13th Albany County Militia during the American Revolution. He was probably present at the Battle of Saratoga during the fall of 1777. However, Samuel Ashman is not on the 1779 Saratoga District, Albany County Tax Lists.

Are these men related to one another? If so, how?

Any genealogical information on these men and their respective families will be deeply appreciated.
