Hi Chris,
i'm not sure if there is any connection as i am tracing my line of ashman's at the moment, but i've got up to my great grandfather Arthur George Ashman, the only piece of information that i have is his son, my grandfather born on 11th may 1902 in Marylebone, Westminster named Albert edward Ashman. On my grandfather's 2nd marriage certificate it states that Arthur's trade was printer, rumour has it that there were more brothers and sisters, that i can't confirm anywhere as the 1881 census doesn't show an Arthur George anywhere in UK. I was hoping someone could confirm identity and family so that i can trace the family line further as nobody seems to have picked my end up. Speak soon, i hope. Glen Ashman
