I too am following the Ashman / Plummer line and am interested in Luke Ashman who married Ann Alwood.
My direct line is a Benjamin Ashman born round about 1770. He could be the son of Luke Ashman and Ann Alwood (baptised 1768) or he could be the son of Moses Ashman who married Jane Plummer (baptised 1770).
I then have a choice because there are two Luke's. Is 'my' Benjamin the son of Luke who married Ann Alwood (born 1733)or Luke son of Alexander Ashman (born 1741).
Do you have any information on Moses or Alexander? I would like to share information.
