I have been compling a family tree and have discovered Ashmans in the descendants that lived in Bath however the furtherst this goes back to is 1889, the year Stanley Ashman was born who died in 1917. Does this sound like a connection to your tree, he had brothers named Wilf, jack and Frank and sisters called, Annie and Violet. Soory about not being able to help but I thought you might have a Ashamn connection to this family that grew up in Bath.
