Hello Susie;
I've read your message at least 100 times and for some reason keep comming back to it.
Is this James Ashwell the minister that died falling from a step ladder? I don't think that the 1776 Bromsgrove birthdate is correct. There was only one James Ashwell born at Broomsgrove in 1802. Parents were John And Sarah.
I've seen no records of birth for Maria b: 1800 of James H. b: 1821.
Now I do have James Ashwell married to Mary Shanks wife # 1. 20 Jan. 1846 at Cuyahoga
Elizabeth Broyden was wife # 2 12 Jan. 1851 at Cuyahoga
This would mean that the daughters Sarah, Katherine, Alice V., and Florence were issued from the second marriage.
I've seen no records for the marriage of Maria To George Kimberley or the births of her eight children.
Now please don't get me wrong. I'm not trying to tear you apart. It wouldn't be the first time that I was wrong. As I said I've looked at you message so many times, just can't get it to spell mother.
Best regards, Dan Ashwell
