Rosemary:

Thank you for your contribution. I found this additional information you posted about the wife of John Bayne Ascham. It is very informative and should be posted here as well.

Jessie June Biggs Ascham
Birth: Jun. 16, 1875, Arcadia, Hancock County, Ohio, USA
Death: Oct. 21,1950, USA
Burial: Maple Grove Cemetery,Findlay, Hancock County, Ohio, USA

Jessie Biggs Ascham was the daughter of Dr. Richard W. Biggs & Lydia Margaret Hartshorn, granddaughter of Rev Richard Biggs & Mary Oman. She married on 15 August 15, 1896 Arcadia, Hancock Co, Ohio Rev. John Bayne Ascham (aka Askam). They had two children: son and Mary Margaret Ascham who married David Sherman Green.

It is probably no coincidence that my paternal aunt was named Jessie (King Cave)
