I've been in contact with a Larry Todt from Indiana, who has copies of the John Askin Papers. By his description of the papers he has quite a volume.
Larry is registered with several native american nations. His searches led him to the John Askin papers. I'm supposed to contact him and get copies or at least reasearch these papers so that I can also trace my Askin lineage. If I run across anything concerning Agnes I'll let you know.
John A. Askin Jr is the oldest son of John A. Askin. John Jr. also married a 1/2 native woman.
My great grandfather John H. Askin was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I'm trying to make that connection to John A. Sr. John A. sr had several children by at least 3 marriages as far as I can determine right now. John B. Askin was also the son of John A. Jr..
I hope some of this has been of help.
